     RPM340B is a non -halogenated flame retardant based on red phosphorus, particularly suitable for polystyrene articles. It is offered as a free-flowing and dust-free master batch in pellets physical form which makes it very easy to handle, accurate to dose and safe to process, allowing high consistency in the quality of the final article.
RPM340B is based on stabilized and micro-encapsulated red phosphorus powder grades and polystyrene as a carrier resin. It is easy to be homogenously dispersed in the polymer compound.

Applications                                                                         
   RPM340B is the master batch developed especially for HIPS, also suitable for ABS, intended to be used for the shell of domestic appliances or other parts.

Formulation	
   In HIPS, a recommended dosage of RPM340B should range from 8 to 10% (by wt), combined with other synergistic flame-proofing agents, such as metal hydroxides (Mg (OH) 2, Al (OH) 3), organic phosphoric esters, melamine derivatives, etc.
